Using Ma’aser Instead of Charging Interest

I have a friend who is struggling in business. He needs an interest-free loan to stay afloat and he asked me to lend him the money, explaining that he is only able to pay it back if no interest is charged. Can I give him the loan interest-free and then deduct the amount I would have charged as interest [using a heter iska] from my ma’aser account?

Using Ma’aser Money to Write Off a Loan

Reuven lends money to Shimon and he knows that Shimon is poor and cannot repay the loan. Reuven wants to forgive the loan and deduct the amount he was owed from his ma’aser account. Can he do that?

Prepaying Ma’aser

He wants to designate all this money as ma’aser , thereby “prepaying” his ma’aser for the profits he hopes to make in the next few years. Is that okay?
